Deborah Bay specializes in tabletop and constructed photography, working with both in-camera images and digital composites. Her latest works explore the impact of technology on society. In her series “The Fringes of Cyberia” she creates dystopian cityscapes that suggest both the environmental and social ramifications of technology – while also recognizing the seductiveness and cool promise of each new e-toy.  In “Metaphysics 10101” she explores the ways that technology is changing the nature of reality, warping concepts of time and space.
